Special boat racing throttle with deadman controls, throttle is released when operator removes his hand. Also can be locked open in any position with pushbutton. Pushbutton is shielded to help prevent accidental locking. Sturdy all-aluminum non-rust construction, black crinkle finish.
RACING STEERING SYSTEM - CABLE STEERING
Covico 12" boat steering wheel with exposed base and drum, suitable for any boat with cable steering and especially for hydroplanes or runabouts like the Wetback, Bobcat, OK and similar. Base is machined from UHMW polyurethane, the drum from Delrin nylon and mount on the face of the dash. The shaft is stainless steel, the wheel is chrome with a black cushion grip. Adjustable steering tension. Kit contains all steering parts - wheel, base and drum assembly, coaming and swivel pulleys, vinyl covered steering cable, cable tighteners, clamps and eye straps.
